What Taskedwright is
Taskedwright ("we") runs a marketplace at taskedwright.com. Companies post tasks, and independent providers (agencies and specialists) send proposals to do them. We provide the tools to brief, compare, message and agree. We are not a party to the work itself: the agreement for each piece of work is between the company and the provider.
Who can use it
Taskedwright is built for business use. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract where you live. If you use Taskedwright for a company, you confirm you're allowed to act for it.
Your account
You need an account to post a task or send a proposal, and you must confirm your email address first. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens under your account. The details you give us must be true, and you may not create an account for someone else without their permission.
Posting tasks
Describe real work you intend to have done. The brief writer is an AI tool that drafts a brief from your description. It can be wrong or incomplete, so review and edit the brief before you publish: you're responsible for everything in a task you post.
Published tasks are public. Don't include confidential business information, passwords, or personal details about other people; share what a provider needs privately, in your conversation, once you've chosen one. Open tasks close to new proposals after 30 days unless you reopen them.
Proposals and the work
A proposal is the provider's offer: a price, a timeline and an approach. Accepting a proposal tells the provider you want to go ahead; agree the remaining details with them in your conversation. Providers set their own prices and decide how to do the work. We don't employ providers and don't guarantee the quality, timing or outcome of any work.
Payments and fees
Posting tasks and sending proposals is free. Payments through Taskedwright are not available yet; until they are, companies and providers arrange payment directly between themselves, and Taskedwright isn't involved in or responsible for those payments.
When payments through Taskedwright launch, a company will be able to pay an accepted fixed price into escrow, and we will release it to the provider when the company approves the work. We will keep a fee of 10% of each payment released to a provider. Companies pay the quoted price with no added fee. Payments will be processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms.
What you can't do
Don't post or propose anything illegal, deceptive or harmful; don't harass anyone; don't send spam or use invites to email people who haven't asked to hear from you; don't impersonate anyone; don't try to break, scrape or overload the service; and don't use Taskedwright to collect other users' personal data for unrelated purposes.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: briefs, proposals, messages, files and reviews. You give us permission to store it, display it to the people it's meant for (public tasks, profiles and reviews are visible to anyone), and process it to run the service. Reviews must be honest accounts of real work. If you send us suggestions about Taskedwright, we may use them without owing you anything.
Disagreements between users
If something goes wrong with a piece of work, take it up with the other party first, in your conversation. We can look into reports and remove content or accounts, but we don't settle disputes between users and we don't act as an arbitrator.
Reports, removal and suspension
Anyone signed in can report a task, profile or message. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk, and we may do so without notice where the risk justifies it. A suspended account can't sign in, and its tasks and profile are hidden.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. Deleting it removes your tasks, proposals, messages, files and reviews, as our privacy policy describes. What you agreed with other users before then stays between you and them, and the sections of these terms on liability and disagreements continue to apply.
Disclaimers and liability
Taskedwright is provided as it is, and parts of it rely on other companies' services, so it may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from work agreed between users, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which is currently nothing, since the service is free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you posted, work you agreed, or your breach of these terms, you're responsible for the reasonable cost of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes; when we do, we'll change the date below, and continuing to use Taskedwright means you accept the new version. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: hello@taskedwright.com.
